However, this driveable solar panel idea is tremendously flawed in more ways than I have time to go into. There is already research in developing collector piping within asphalt pavement to collect the solar energy from the asphalt. This would not involve developing new skid-resistant glass, but would use already existing technology. Good theoretical thoughts here though.<br /><br />PS. Since then I&#39;ve become worried that the PVC particles it sheds as it slowly degrades could be harmful, espcially since I collect rainwater off the roof.
